Fundraising
The library holds different fundraising events throughout the year. From the "Love your Library" event in February, the monthly book sales, the large "Book Sale" in September, to the "Angel Tree" in December, the library is always doing something to fundraise.

Now, you have the opportunity to donate directly to the library at the Youngsville branch of Northwest Bank. Just as one of the tellers and they will give you guidance.
​
Each May, The Community Foundation holds its annual "Warren Gives' fundraising drive. This year, 112 local organizations have registered to participate in the event. Last Years event distributed over $1 million dollars to 110 participating organizations thanks to the generous donors and match pool sponsors.
​
The Youngsville Library has a wish list that includes a new roof, an automatic door for handicap entrance , and more.

Annual Book Sale
September
The annual book sale traditionally takes place on the first Saturday in September after Labor Day, from 10:00am - 4:00pm.
​
Hot dogs, chips, and water are available for purchase during the sale.
​
Stop by and peruse the wide variety of books, and take home a new favorite!
The annual "Library Angel Tree" gives patrons the opportunity to give back to the library by purchasing an "angel ornament" in any number of denominations for any number of specific "needs" of the library, or a general donation to be used at the directors discretion for a specific need.
​
Often people do not think about the basic needs/items that the library has day to day, such as cleaning supplies, postage, office supplies, ect.
​
Supporters also have the opportunity to purchase an angel in "Memory of or in Honor of" someone. All angels are placed on the tree by staff members during the holiday.

Love Your library
February/March
Every February/March, the library holds the "Love your Library" Raffle. Patrons have the opportunity to purchase chances to win any number of prizes that have been generously donated for the event.
In the past, prizes have ranged from a "movie night" with tickets to the movies and snacks, "golf and dinner" with rounds of golf at local courses and dinner out.
Forms are available at the library, the Youngsville Borough office, and here to print and submit. The library employees, board members, and Friends of the YPL also have forms and tickets.
