St. Francis Episcopal Church: 343 East Main St. Please join us each Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm for a Taize Prayer Service. These quiet, contemplative gatherings offer a beautiful opportunity for prayer and reflection. If you have any questions, please reach out to Vicar Joe McGarry at 814-723-9360

Every Thursday is Bar-Bingo at the Youngsville American Legion (10 North Main St.) Bingo starts at 6pm, and the kitchen opens at 5pm. Bar Bingo is a formal term for this weekly fundraiser and is not intended to imply participants are required to sit at or near the bar area.

Saron Lutheran Church: West Main St. is having their annual Spring Rummage and Bake Sale on Thursday, April 30th and Friday, May 1st from 9am-4pm, and on Saturday, May 2nd from 9am-noon. On Saturday it's $1.00 per bag day! If you have rummage to donate, please contact Deb Yucha at 814-723-1826 or Jim Fitzgerald at 814-563-7580 to arrange a delivery time to the church. A reminder, we will NOT accept an TV's, VCR's, or like devices. Also, we do have an elevator available for access to the basement where the sale is being held.

St. Luke Catholic Church: 420 N. Main St. is holding a Rummage and Bake Sale on Thursday, April 30th and Friday, May 1st, from 9am-4pm and on Saturday, May 2nd from 9am-noon. Saturday will be $1.00 per bag day. Sponsored by the Alter/Rosary Society.

Irvine Presbyterian Church and Scout Troop 22  is holding a Rummage and Bake Sale on Thursday, April 30th and Friday, May 1st, from 9am-4pm and on Saturday, May 2nd from 9am-noon at 885 National Forge Rd. Irvine.

Applications/Photo Release Forms for the Youngsville Hometown Heros Banner Project are being accepted.

Any branch of service, past or present, home or aboard, war time or peace is eligible.

All banner are displayed from Memorial Day to Veterans Day.

The Wilder Museum has over 4,000 items on display that will intrigue any visitor! Some of the favorites include: a 1963 Mercedes Benz, Native American Artifacts spanning over 8,000 years, furnishings from the Irvine Newbold Estate that include a 2 person vacuum cleaner, an 1860's authentic covered wagon, antique toy collection, Henry Rouse's boots, Irvine Railroad Depot desk, one handed clock invented in Warren by Spanish-American War hero Col. Windsor, and so much more!
